We are hiring coaches for our in-person locations who can help our students achieve their academic goals. You will help students dive deep into subjects that they are passionate about, while providing support and guidance when needed. Description
Our Head Coaches will be responsible for the following:

Being familiar with technology used by students and in the classroom; troubleshooting when needed.

Opening and closing of the classroom which includes greeting students in the morning and seeing them off in the afternoon.
-
Knowing the daily schedule and implementing it, this includes guiding students while they prepare their exhibitions, leading Socratic discussions, teaching AOC curriculum, creating a Leadership program, assisting them in preparing for lunch hour, etc.
-
Being available to prepare for printing needs, intervention, distribution of supplies to students, preparation of student assignments, etc.
-
Assist in the planning of field trips, service projects, and invitation of guest speakers, this includes participating in field trips and service projects.
-
Plan seasonal/session sports into Wednesday afternoon gym time, this includes leading and teaching of selected sports.
-
Working with students to maintain cleanliness of the facility including reporting to the Director any facility needs and issues.
-
Remembering to include students as often as possible in the decision making of Academy activities, projects and programs.
-
Communicating/meeting with the Director and Founders as requested.
-
Communicating to the Director any supply or equipment needs in a timely manner.
-
Collaborating with other Coaches in the classroom.
-
For safety purposes: Familiarizing self with facility exits and safety plans, familiarizing self with campus staff, locking of doors and gates when needed.

Other duties related to the running of Academy programs and educating of its students.
Assistant Coach
Our Assistant Coaches will be responsible for the following:

Be familiar with technology used by students and in the classroom.

Assist Head Coach with troubleshooting when needed.

Assist in opening and closing of the classroom which includes greeting students in the morning and seeing them off in the afternoon

Knowing the daily schedule and implementing it, this includes guiding students while they prepare their exhibitions, assisting with the leading of Socratic discussions, assisting with the teaching of AOC curriculum, assisting with the implementation of a Leadership program, assisting in preparing for lunch hour, etc.

Attending and assisting with supervision during field trips, service projects.

Assist with leading and teaching of selected sports.
